Cancellation Policy

Photographer Work and Cancellation Policy 1. Booking & Scheduling A session is confirmed once the date and time are agreed upon. The photographer reserves that time specifically for the client. Clients are responsible for providing accurate information regarding location, participants, and requested services. 24-Hour Cancellation Policy Clients must provide at least **24 hours' notice** to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled session may result in the **full session fee being charged**. Deposits or retainers may be retained to compensate the photographer for reserved time and preparation. The photographer may waive this fee for documented emergencies or significant unforeseen circumstances. 3. No-Shows & Late Arrivals Failure to appear without notice is considered a no-show and may result in the full session fee being charged. Late arrivals may reduce the available photography time, and the scheduled end time will generally remain unchanged. No refund or fee reduction will be provided due to lateness. 4. Photographer Cancellation If the photographer must cancel because of illness, emergency, equipment failure, unsafe conditions, or circumstances beyond reasonable control, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, payments for services not provided will be refunded. The photographer is not responsible for additional expenses or consequential losses. Weather & Safety The photographer may reschedule outdoor sessions because of severe weather, hazardous travel, or unsafe conditions. The photographer may end or modify a session if conditions become unsafe or a client behaves abusively, threateningly, illegally, or dangerously. 6. Services & Creative Control Services are limited to those agreed upon at booking. Additional time, locations, subjects, or specialized editing may incur additional fees. The photographer retains professional discretion over composition, image selection, editing, and artistic decisions. RAW and rejected images are not included unless specifically agreed. 7. Copyright & Image Use The photographer retains copyright unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment for services does not transfer copyright. The client receives only the usage rights specifically granted. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the photographer may use completed images for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, and promotional purposes.
